Market analysis and strategic planning

NEL-i was asked to create a business model to utilize combustion residues from a cogeneration plant (circular economy concept) to the agricultural sector.

This by-product from the plant’s furnaces could then be transferred and considered a value-adding formulation for crops, which would considerably reduce its disposal’s environmental impact.

To create the operating model, we identified target markets and determined a Life Cycle environmental value proposition (LCA) that included a reduction of GHG emissions. We then helped design the manufacturing process and a sustainable business model, and assessed the potential for obtaining carbon credits linked to emission reduction.
