GHG emission reductions and carbon credits
The Point-de-l’île school board (Montreal, QC) was looking to improve its energy efficiency by minimizing consumption and costs, and to reduce its overall environmental impacts. NEL-i was asked to develop a GHG emissions reduction project, obtaining (certification) and marketing carbon offset credits.
We helped the school board estimate their total emissions, then identify and select appropriate energy saving technologies, and finally assess the project’s impact on emissions.
